I’ve been calling myself a writer since 1998. Since that time, I’ve written in a variety of genres and on a multitude of topics. It’s been the most delightful journey of my life. As the world of writing and publishing continues to change and evolve at ever increasing speeds, I find myself confused, intrigued, and confused more every day. The more I learn, the less I know.
But I keep plugging away because very simply, I love to write.
When the new forms of marketing through social media aren’t clogging my mind, I’m writing posts for my two blogs and working on several projects, both fiction and nonfiction. Live from the Road, a novel about four women who hit Route 66 in one hilarious and enlightening journey from Chicago to L.A, represents my first venture as a self-published author. In May 2012, I published it as both an eBook and paperback on Amazon.
In January 2013, I published my second novel Trails in the Sand, an environmental love story, which is a genre I invented Since there isn’t a category for it yet, I’ve published it as contemporary fiction or literary fiction. Trails in the Sand is available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Smashwords.
I write another blog, Living Lightly, where I post about living life with as little impact upon the Earth as possible. I post gardening tips and recipes. I share tips for a greener lifestyle. I post on topics concerning the environment and the human condition. Please leave me comments on my posts and pages and fill out the “Contact” form to send me a direct message.

Happy reading and writing,
